It is the intent of this letter that the post weld treatment is to be completed while the pump drive is removed for planned component replacement or failure.
If this letter is completed After Failure (crack initiation) an additional 23 hours of labor may be claimed to remove and install the pump drive and to repair the defect.
For After Failure repairs it is required to attach pictures showing the cracking and weld repairs to SIMSi when submitting the warranty claim.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to the "Procedure for Repairing Frame Cracks at the Pump Drive Mount and Inner Right-Hand Window Plate on the Mid Frame Section" section in Special Instruction REHS7995 "Procedure to Inspect and Repair the Center Section Frame on Certain 793F Off-Highway Trucks".
If the repair is being completed before failure, start on step number 18 in the Special Instruction.
If the repair is being completed after failure start on step number 1 in the Special Instruction.
Group 1 contains post weld treatment from the factory on the top rear corner of the pump drive mount on the window plate side. Refer to Image1.2.1 and 1.2.2 for location of existing TIG dressing.
If this corner is defect free no action is required on this corner on the window plate side.

Group 2 contains post weld treatment from the factory on all four corners of the pump drive mount on the window plate side. Refer to Image1.3.1 and 1.3.2 for location of existing TIG dressing.
If these corners are defect free no action is required on the four corners on the window plate side.
