Disconnect four oil lines and hoses (3) from pressure reducing valve (1). Remove two bolts (2) and washer that hold pressure reducing valve (1) to the firewall. Remove pressure reducing valve (1). Install pressure reducing valve in reverse order from removal.Disassemble & Assemble Pressure Reducing valve
Start By:a. remove pressure reducing valve FLUID SPILLAGE CONTAINMENTCare must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to "TOOLS AND SHOP PRODUCT GUIDE, NENG2500", for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids in Caterpillar machines. Dispose fluids according to local regulations and mandates. 1. Remove reducing valve (2) from valve housing 2. Remove two backing rings (3) (white) and three O-rings (4) (brown). Replace any damaged backing rings or O-rings. Assemble the pressure reducing valve in the reverse order.End By:1. install pressure reducing valve
