Check the cab rear mount surfaces with a straight edge (A), because the two surfaces may not be parallel. Refer to Illustration 1.
The straight edge (A) should span both the rear cab mount and the mounting surfaces. The spanning length should be 1778 mm (70.0 inch).

Measure the distance between the cab mounting surface (B) and a straight edge (A). Refer to Illustration 2.

As required, use shims from plate kit (1) in order to adjust the mount gap. Ensure the rear cab viscous mounting surfaces are parallel. Refer to Illustration 3. Note: Rear mounts are the only mounts available for shimming.
