Information:
* Fabricate from threaded rod to the dimensions given in the tool chart.
The tractor must be on a hard, level surface before the belt is removed.
1. Put tooling (D) in position under the rear of the machine as shown. Raise the rear of the tractor with tooling (D) approximately 203 mm (8 in). Position tooling (C) under the rear support assembly as shown. To provide a better contact area for tooling (A), install a 102 mm x 102 mm x 12.7 mm (4.0 in x 4.0 in x .50 in) steel plate between the frame and tooling (A) on each side of the machine.2. Put tooling (B) in position under the front axle group as shown. Raise the front of the machine with tooling (B) approximately 203 mm (8 in). Put tooling (A) in position under each corner of the frame. Install a 102 mm x 102 mm (4.0 in x 4.0 in) steel plate that is 12.7 mm (.50 in) thick between tooling (A) and the frame on each side. Lower the front of the machine onto tooling (A) with tooling (B). 3. Slowly and carefully loosen the fitting on the end of each hydraulic hose (1). Vent any pressure trapped in belt tensioner cylinders (2). Disconnect the fitting from each belt tensioner cylinder (2). 4. Connect tooling (E) to two hydraulic hoses (1) from belt tensioner cylinders (2). Connect the opposite end of tooling (E) to the "No. 1 Raise Implement" quick disconnect coupler at the rear of the machine. If the tractor is not operable, an alternate hydraulic source must be used. Slip two hoses (3) over the fittings in belt tensioner cylinders (2) to direct the overflow oil down and away when pressurizing the belt tensioner cylinders.5. Start the engine. Using the No. 1 implement control lever, slowly pressurize and extend belt tensioner cylinders (2). If both belts are removed at the same time, install two lock assemblies (5).6. Remove bolt (4) and lock assembly (5).7. Install lock assembly (5) over the rod end of the belt tensioner cylinder, and secure it with the bolts provided.8. Using the No. 1 implement control lever, slowly vent the hydraulic pressure from belt tensioner cylinders (2). 9. Remove six bolts (6) and the washers from each of the outer four bogie rollers (7). Remove the four outer bogie rollers. It may be necessary to use 5P3975 Rubber Lubricant between the belt and the outer idler wheel to aid in removal of the outer idler wheel.10. Remove two of the ten bolts (8) that hold outer idler wheel (10) in position. Install tooling (F) in the bolt holes as shown. Remove eight remaining bolts (8), the washers and spacer (9). Slowly slide outer idler wheel (10) out on tooling (F). It may be necessary to use 5P3975 Rubber Lubricant, and thoroughly soak the belt and outer idler wheel to aid in removal of the outer idler wheel.11. Fasten a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to outer
