Replacement Procedure
Parts Needed
Illustration 1 shows the position of the wiring components before the modification. Use Illustration 2 as a guide to perform the repair.1. Carefully disconnect all wires from the defective 5W-2702 Relay (5).2. Remove the original connector from the yellow wire (G) and install one new 8U-6147 Connector (1). Attach connector (1) to the 5W-1972 Terminal that is located at the end of the green/brown wire (C).3. Remove the original terminal from the black wire (E) and install one new 8U-6147 Connector (1).4. Fabricate the following parts to make a new wire assembly: one 5W-1965 Terminal (2), 2.2 m (7.2 ft) 5P-5623 wire (3), one 5W-2002 Terminal (4).5. Connect the terminal (2) end of the new wire assembly to the 5W-2639 Solenoid Valve (7) at the same point as the yellow wire (G) connection.6. Connect the terminal (4) end of the new wire assembly to connector (1) that is installed to the black wire (E) in Step 3.

Fabricate the following parts to make a new wire assembly: one 5W-1965 Terminal (2), 2.2 m (7.2 ft) 5P-5623 wire (3), one 5W-2002 Terminal (4).5. Connect the terminal (2) end of the new wire assembly to the 5W-2639 Solenoid Valve (7) at the same point as the yellow wire (G) connection.6. Connect the terminal (4) end of the new wire assembly to connector (1) that is installed to the black wire (E) in Step 3.
