A broken 302-5790 Clamp Reports have been received from the field of cracks (2) in the 302-5790 Clamps (1) that secure the piston style steering accumulators. The cracks can lead to the clamps breaking that cause the steering accumulators to become unsecured.Note: For machines S/N:FDB1-1216, the situation only applies if the machine has been updated to the piston style accumulators from the bladder style accumulators.Solution
Inspect the 302-5790 Clamps during the daily walk around inspection. Replace any failed 302-5790 Clamps with new 302-5790 Clamps .
