Reasonable travel and mileage is authorized. On vessels with multiple affected engines this service letter should completed on all engines on the vessel on the same trip. Please reference the other engine serial numbers in the claim story.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
STEP 1: Remove the 276-7630 Turbocharger Shield if equipped. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3425, "Installation of the 276-7630 Turbocharger Shield Group" for assembly instructions details.
STEP 2: Remove the 324-8082 Elbow and 324-8080 Tube on the RH side of the engine as shown in Image 1.2.1.

STEP 3: Replace the existing 112-3540 O-ring seals with new 416-7134 O-ring seals as shown in Image 1.3.1. P-80 Assembly Lubricant is recommended to aid in the assembly of O-ring seals.

STEP 4: Reinstall 324-8082 Elbow and 324-8080 Tube.
STEP 5: Remove the 324-8080 Tube and 328-9713 Elbow on the LH side of the engine as shown in Image 1.5.1.

STEP 6: Replace the existing 112-3540 O-ring seals with new 416-7134 O-ring seals as shown in Image 1.6.1. P-80 Assembly Lubricant is recommended to aid in the assembly of O-ring seals.

STEP 7: Reinstall 328-9713 Elbow and 324-8080 Tube.
STEP 8: Reinstall 276-7630 Turbocharger shield if equipped. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3425, "Installation of the 276-7630 Turbocharger Shield Group" for assembly instructions details.
