1. Remove four bolts (2) that hold the fuel line brackets to the aftercooler housing.2. Disconnect fuel lines (1) to the valve cover base and lines (3) to the fuel injection pumps.3. Remove the fuel lines as a unit.Install Fuel Injection Lines
1. Put the fuel lines into position on the engine. 2. Connect fuel lines (2) to the injection pumps. Connect fuel lines (3) to the valve cover base. Tighten all fuel lines nuts to 40 7 N m (30 5 lb ft) with Tool (A).3. Install four bolts that hold brackets (1) to the aftercooler housing.4. Remove (bleed) the air from the fuel system. If replacement lines are installed, always remove the metal identification tags so vibration of the tags will not cause worn through fuel lines.
