Use a 151-6320 Wire Removal Tool to remove the circuit driver and return for the starting solenoid from either the P5 or P6 connector on the terminal box. Refer to Illustration 1 for a schematic of the circuit.
Switch the 16 amp circuit breaker for the ECM ON. Turn the engine control switch to the STOP position.
Use Cat ET to clear the logged "444-6 Starter Motor Relay : Current Above Normal" diagnostic code.Note: To provide the output for the starting motor's solenoid,
