Information:
Remove Transmission Control
1. Remove cotter pin (2) and pin (3). Disconnect transmission control rod (1) from the bellcrank.2. Turn transmission control rod (1) in a counterclockwise direction until it can be removed from the column assembly. 3. Remove nut (6) and washer. Disconnect linkage rod (5) from lever (4).4. Loosen the bolt that holds lever (4) to the tube assembly. Remove lever (4) and key. 5. Remove bolt (7), nut, washer and lockwasher. Remove clamp assembly (8) from the column assembly. 6. Remove bolts (10). Remove transmission control (9) from the dash assembly.Install Transmission Control
1. Put transmission control (1) in position in the floor plate and on the dash assembly. Install the bolts that hold it. 2. Install clamp assembly (3) on the column assembly and floor plate lug.3. Install the key and lever (2) on the column assembly.4. Put the transmission neutral lock lever in the "LOCK" position. Put transmission directional control lever (5) in the "NEUTRAL" position. Make an adjustment to linkage rod (4) until it can be installed on lever (2).5. Turn the speed control handle counterclockwise until the rack is from .06 to .12 in. (1.52 to 3.05 mm) above the top of the housing assembly. Install rod (9) in the column assembly until the distance between the bottom of the tube assembly and the center line of the pin bore of the rod, dimension (X), is 5.84 in. (14.83 cm) for the 966C or 3.19 in. (8.10 cm) for the 950. Connect rod (9) to bellcrank (6).6. Put transmission speed control lever (7) in the fourth speed position. Make an adjustment to linkage rod (8) until it can be installed on bellcrank (6).7. Check the indicator collar on the speed control handle to make sure the number four is in alignment with the arrow on the housing assembly. If necessary, make an adjustment to the indicator collar.Disassemble Transmission Control

Remove tube assembly (4) from column assembly (1). 4. Remove spiral lockring (6). Remove bearing (5) from the column assembly. 5. Remove retainer ring (7) and washer
