Remove Foot-Operated Brake Valves
start by:a) remove brake pedal Right side foot-operated brake valve removal is shown.1. Remove the floor plate from the cab.
Release the pressure from the air reservoir before any lines are disconnected.
2. Remove tube assemblies (1) from the brake valves. 3. Disconnect wire (2) from the switch (right side valve only).4. Disconnect tube assembly (3). Remove foot-operated brake valve (5). For right side brake valve, remove switch (4) from double check valve assembly (6). Remove double check valve assembly (6) from the foot-operated brake valve.Install Foot-Operated Brake Valves
For right side brake valve, install double check valve assembly (2) on the foot-operated brake valve. Install switch (1) in the double check valve assembly.1. Put foot-operated brake valve (3) in position under the floor plate. Connect tube assembly (4).2. Connect wire (5) to the switch (right side valve only). 3. Install tube assemblies (6) on the brake valves.4. Install the floor plate in the cab.end by:a) install brake pedalDisassemble Foot-Operated Brake Valve

Retainer (3) holds spring (1) under compression. Use caution when the retainer is removed from the valve body.
1. Remove retainer (3), piston assembly (2) and spring (1) from the valve body. 2. Remove O-ring seal (5) from the piston.3. Remove bolt (8) and washer. Remove seat (7) and spring (6) from the piston (4). 4. Use tool (A) to remove snap ring (9) and the washer.5. Remove valve assembly (10) from the valve body. Remove the O-ring seal from the valve body. 6. Remove screw (18) and washer, diaphragm (17) and spring (16) from seat (15).7. Remove valve (11) and spring (14) from the seat.8. Remove O-ring seal (13) and retainer (12) from the valve.Assemble Foot-Operated Brake Valve
1. Install O-ring seal, retainer (4) and spring (2) on valve (3).2. Put seat (1) in position on the valve. Install the spring, diaphragm, washer and bolt in the seat.3. Install the O-ring seal in the valve body. 4. Install valve assembly (6), washer (7) and snap ring (8) in valve body (5). Use tool (A) to install the snap ring. 5. Install O-ring seal (10), spring (11), seat (12) and washer and bolt (13) in piston (9). 6. Install spring (14), piston assembly (15) and retainer (16) in the valve body.end by:a) install foot-operated brake valve
