Removal Procedure
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.
Turn the fuel shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and hose assemblies (2) .

Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Fuel System Secondary Filter - Replace" for the correct removal and installation of secondary filter (6) .
Disconnect harness assembly (3) and hose assemblies (7) .
Remove bolts (4) and fuel filter base (5) .Installation Procedure
Install the fuel filter (secondary) and fuel filter base in the reverse order of removal.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System - Prime" for the correct priming procedure.
