Illustration 4 shows the plan and cross section view of a simple 7-alignment road design exported as a ".dc" road design providing single slope layered lift. The average cross slope is calculated from the elevation of the second alignment and the second to last alignment.
Illustration 4 g01439189
Illustration 5 shows the guidance screen for an actual 7-alignment single slope ".dc" design. Vertical guidance is given to both of the blade edges.
Illustration 5 g01443752

A Dual Slope Layered Lift requires at least five points. The design uses point "2", "3" and "4" in order to define the slope of the layered lift. Refer to Illustration 6 and 7.

Illustration 7 g01443928
Dual Slope, from roadIllustration 8 shows the plan and cross-section view of a simple 5-alignment road design exported as a ".dc" road design providing dual slope layered lift. The two cross slopes are calculated from the cross slopes of the design on either side of the center alignment.
Illustration 8 g01439211
Note: On the guidance screens for a 5-alignment dual slope ".dc" design, the vertical guidance is given to the right blade edge.Daylight Points
Horizontal guidance is given to the "daylight points" of a line that is drawn through the edge of the blade with focus that is parallel to the calculated cross slope."Daylight points" are points in which the blade would reach the edge of the design for that elevation."Daylight points" can be used with Single or Dual Slope designs.Single Slope, from road
Illustration 9 and 10 describe the "daylight points" for a Single Slope.

The following new text items have been added in order to support Dynamic Layered Lifts.

Items     Details
"Offline L"     Offline L considers all alignments to the left of the dividing point. The distance that is displayed is the shortest distance from the left blade edge to the nearest considered alignment. If there are no alignments to the left of the dividing point, then "N/A" is displayed.
"Offline R"     Offline R considers all alignments to the right of the dividing point. The distance that is displayed is the shortest distance from the right blade edge to the nearest considered alignment. If there are no alignments to the right of the dividing point, then "N/A" is displayed.
"Offline DL"     When a standard DC road or SVD design is loaded, then Offline DL shows the distance from the left blade edge to the leftmost alignment of that road. When a single slope design is loaded, the distance displayed is from the left blade edge to the nearest dynamic alignment to the left blade edge. For dual slope designs, this is
