Install a 9S2000 Flow Meter. For Formula I, measure pump flow at 100 psi (690 kPa) and at 1000 psi (6900 kPa) with engine at high idle rpm. See Tee Test Tooling Chart, Form No. REG00910.Formula I: Test On The Bench
If the test bench cannot be run at 1000 psi at a high rpm, use Formula II. Do the first part of the test at half speed rpm (See SPECIFICATIONS). Measure the pump flow at 100 psi (690 kPa) and 1000 psi (6900 kPa). Then for the last part of the test, measure the pump flow at 100 psi (690 kPa) while at full speed rpm (See SPECIFICATIONS).Formula II: Steering Force Check
Check the force needed to turn the steering wheel. The torque must be as follows:(a) To start steering wheel rotation with engine at low idle ... 18 to 22 lb.in.(2.1 to 2.5 N m)(b) To keep steering wheel moving slowly with engine at low idle ... 18 to 20 lb. in.(2.1 to 2.3 N m)Steering Time
To check the steering time, put the machine on a dry, hard surface.
