Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Clean the area around the swing motor and the swing drive. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the swing motor and the swing drive.

Attach a suitable lifting device around swing motor (7) . The weight of swing motor (7) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Place swing motor (7) in position on the machine.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of 12 bolts (8) . Apply Tooling (B) to the mating surfaces of the swing drive and the swing motor. Install bolts (8) in order to fasten swing motor (7) to the swing drive. Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 90 9 N m (66.40 6.64 lb ft).

Connect hose assemblies (2) , (3) , (4) , (5) , and (6) to the swing motor. Tighten hose assemblies (2) and (3) to a torque of 108 10 N m (80 7 lb ft).

Connect hose assemblies (1) to the main control valve. Tighten hose assemblies (1) to a torque of 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft).
Fill the swing drive with lubricant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Swing Drive Oil Level - Change" and Operation and Maintenance, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".
Check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" and Operation and Maintenance, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".
