Remove the main hydraulic pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Place main hydraulic pump (1) onto suitable cribbing, as shown.

Remove screws (2) and coupling (3) .

Remove bolts (4) and (5) .
Install Tooling (A) in place of bolts (4) and (5) .
Remove bolts (6) .
Slide pump drive (7) onto Tooling (A) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to pump drive (7) . The weight of pump drive (7) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove pump drive (7) .
