Remove the fumes disposal group.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and disconnect tube assemblies (2).
Remove hose (4) and loosen clamp (5).
Remove exhaust gas valve (3).

Remove temperature sensor (6).
Remove bolts (7). Separate actuator assembly (8) from valve housing (9).

Remove nut (13), washer (12), and solenoid (11). Remove the O-ring seal from solenoid (11).
Remove spool (10). Installation Procedure
Install exhaust gas valve (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten spool (10) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Tighten nut (13) to a torque of 20 2.5 N m (177 22 lb in).

Fill Cavity (X) half way with Tooling (A). Cavity (X) can be found on the valve housing.
Apply Tooling (B) to threads of temperature sensor (6). Tighten to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).
