1. Remove five clamps (2) from bumper (4).2. Remove bolt (1) from cylinder (3). 3. Position cylinder (3) as shown.4. Install bolt (1). Attach lifting strap and a hoist to bumper (4) as shown. When removing the bumper, note the thickness and number of shims (6) on each side of the yoke. When installing the bumper, install the shims in their original location.5. Remove four bolts and nuts (5), shims (6), and bumper (1). The weight of the bumper and front scraper is 160 kg (355 lb). For installation of the bumper, reverse the removal steps. After the bumper has been installed, adjust the clearance, dimension (X), between the bumper and drum. Obtain a clearance, dimension (X), of 13 2 mm (0.51 0.08 in) between bumper (4) and drum (8). Tighten four bolts and nuts (5).
