Remove cover (3) .

Remove cover (4) and cover (5) .
Loosen three bolts (6) .

Remove and discard plate assembly (7). Retain two washers (8) and two bolts (9) .

(2) 370-2561 Plate As (8) Washer (9) Bolt (10) Catch
Install the improved 370-25611 Plate As (2). Use two washers (8) and two bolts (9) .Note: Ensure that lug is centralized in catch (10). Refer to Illustration 5.
Check that the transmission and steering lock lever (1) is free to move through the full range. Check that Steering Control Joystick cannot move when transmission and steering lock lever (1) is in the locked position. Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Lockout (STIC Steering) - Test".
Tighten three bolts (6) loosened in Step 3.
Replace the cover (4) and cover (5) .
Replace the cover (3) .
