No clearance for individual in this area when the body is raised. When service work is being performed with body raised, connect body prop assembly between body and rear frame to keep body in the raised position. Before operation and when operating, be sure body prop assembly located near lower center of machine, is lowered and placed to the storage location.
1. Start engine and raise body (1). 2. Move body prop assembly (2) to upright position. 3. Install blocking between truck body (1) and frame (3).4. Lower body to contact blocking and stop the engine.5. Remove bolt, washer and nut (4) and remove body prop (2). For removal of the body prop assembly, reverse the installation steps.
