Using 900MHz, Automatic Frequency Selection (AFS) will check if the present radio channel is free. If the radio channel is occupied, the system automatically finds and saves a free radio channel. If the radio channel currently in use is occupied by another radio control system, you must switch the transmitter off and on again to allow AFS to switch to a free radio channel. If AFS is to perform optimally, all the other radio systems in the immediate working environment (such as the factory hall or building site) should be switched on before starting to use the radio system for the first time. Switching all the other radio systems ON before using the system allows AFS to detect automatically which radio channels are already being used in the working area and to choose a suitable free channel for use.
