Stop the engine.
Release the system pressure.

Measure Dimension (A) between wear pad (14) and circle (2). Dimension (A) must be no greater than 0.50 mm (0.020 inch). Add or remove shims (13) to obtain the correct dimension.
Loosen nuts (16) and bolts (17) to allow movement in shoes (18). Seat the circle drive pinion in the teeth on circle (2). Move circle (2) to obtain dimension (C) with circle (2) in contact with the front shoes. Dimension (C) must be 60.5 + 2.50 − 0.50 mm (2.4 + 0.098 − 0.020 inch).
Evenly adjust nuts (16) against shoes (18) to bring wear pads (19) in contact with circle (2). Back off nuts (16) to obtain dimension (B). Dimension (B) must be no greater than 0.80 mm (0.032 inch).
Tighten bolts (17) to 900 100 N m (664 74 lb ft). Tighten nuts (16) to 570 80 N m (421 59 lb ft).
Start the engine. Rotate circle (2) through the entire working range and check for binding. Circle (2) must rotate freely.
Stop the engine.
Release the system pressure.

Use Tooling (D) to install bearings (11) into blade assembly (3). Repeat this step for the remaining bearings (11).

Use Tooling (A) and two suitable lifting devices to position blade assembly (3). The weight of blade assembly (3) is approximately 1814 kg (4000 lb).

Support blade assembly (3) to prevent blade assembly (3) from tipping. Start the engine. Connect blade assembly (3) to circle (2).
Stop the engine.
Release the system pressure.

Install washer (10) and pin (9).

Install blade tip cylinder (4).

Start the engine. Raise circle (2) and blade assembly (3). Remove the suitable cribbing.
