PROBLEM:
Water may leak into the cab of certain Excavators. The water enters the cab between the windshield and the weather strip seal.
SOLUTION:
If water leaks into the cab, bend the bracket toward the windshield. The location of the bracket on the cab is shown in Illustration 1. Bending the bracket will improve the seal between the weather stripping and the windshield. The installation of new weather stripping or thicker weather stripping is an alternative to bending the bracket.
