Personal injury could result when striking an object. Keep personnel away when striking an object. Always wear protective glasses when striking an object.
Illustration 1 g00944410Insert Tool (A) into the bit holder so that Tool (A) contacts the stem of the bit. Strike Tool (A) with a mallet until the bit comes loose.Installation Procedure
Never hit directly on the tip of the bit. Striking the tip of the bit will damage the bit.
Clean the bit holder with nonflammable solvent.
Insert the new bit into the holder. Use a copper hammer in order to tap the bit into the holder. Once the bit is fully inserted into the holder, ensure that the bit rotates.
