Introduction
This Systems Operation provides setup and configuration procedures for Cat® Terrain for draglines. During the initial setup, the system will require the selection of appropriate hardware. This action will install the software packages for the following items: dual GPS antenna, units, options for office communication, GPS configuration and radio.This Systems Operation also provides procedures for configuring a dragline system once the initial setup is complete.During the initial setup, the system will provide the choice to perform a system upgrade. An upgrade is only possible if the current dragline system is version 6.4.2 with service pack 2 or later. Also, the full backup configuration file of the current version must be available on a USB key to perform the upgrade procedure.Important Safety Information

In addition to the normal safety precautions that are taken in the day to day maintenance of heavy machinery, the following preliminary steps are recommended:
Move the machine to a smooth, level location, and away from other working machines and personnel.
Lower the implements to the ground.
Stop the engine.
Engage the parking brake for the machine.
Place the disconnect switch in the OFF position. Place a lockout tag on the disconnect switch.Dragline System Options
The dragline system is shipped from the factory loaded with the core operating system and the base image. Various options can then be selected for installation on the dragline system. The custom packages are selected and installed from the hardware setup screen.The following custom packages are available for installation on a dragline system:

Map surface update
Target performance trend
Dig depth and fill reach display
