Information:

Be sure no one is working on or near the machine to prevent injury. Keep the machine under control at all times to prevent injury.Be sure that the wheel lean lock bolt has been removed from the wheel lean bracket before operating the machine.Do not use the wheel lean lock bolt and the wheel lean bracket to center the front wheel lean of the machine.Reduce engine speed when maneuvering in tight quarters or when breaking over a rise.Select the speed necessary before starting down a grade. Do not change speeds while traveling downhill.A good practice is to use the same speed going downgrade that would be used to go up the grade.Do not allow the engine to overspeed downhill. Use the service brake pedal to reduce engine overspeed going downhill.1. Adjust the operator's seat.2. Fasten the seat belt.3. Raise all lowered equipment enough to clear any obstructions. 4. Push down on the service brake pedal (1) to keep the machine from moving.5. Engage the transmission modulator pedal (2).6. Disengage the parking brake. Move the transmission control lever to the desired direction and speed.7. Release the service brake pedal (1).8. Release the transmission modulator pedal (2).9. Push down on the accelerator pedal to the desired engine speed.10. Drive the machine forward for best visibility and control.
For operator comfort and maximum service life of power train components, deceleration and/or braking is recommended before any directional shifts are made.
Centershift Lock
Personal injury could result from the sudden movement of the blade when the centershift lockpin is released. Before releasing the centershift lockpin be sure that all personnel are clear of the blade area, the circle and blade are centered under the machine and the blade has been lowered to the ground.
1. Center the circle and blade under the machine.2. Lower the blade to the ground.3. Move the centershift lock switch to the Disengaged position. The centershift lock indicator light will come on when the centershift lockpin has been disengaged.4. Move the centershift link bar to the desired position. Check that the centershift lockpin is aligned with the desired hole in the centershift link bar. Check position with the indicator located on the right lift arm.5. Engage the centershift lockpin. The centershift lock indicator light will go off when the centershift lockpin is engaged. If the centershift lock indicator light does not go off move the centershift link bar slightly to align the hole and pin.Parking Brake System
Personal injury could result from the sudden stop of the machine. If the brake system air pressure drops below normal operating pressure, a warning horn will sound and the brake alert indicators on the operator's panel will flash. The action light will start flashing.Correct the reason for the loss of air pressure. Do not move the machine without normal brake air pressure.
The action light will also flash when the monitor system lights flash.
Moving the machine with the parking brake engaged can cause excessive wear or damage to the brake. If necessary, have the brake repaired before operating the
