943, 953, 963 And 973 LoadersThe hydrostatic transmissions on the above loaders have a right and left servo valve. These valves are precision fitted when they are assembled at the factory. Because of this, it is important that the components of these valves are kept with their respective valve groups during disassembly and assembly.
If the components of the valves are not kept with their respective groups when they are assembled, it is possible that the air neutral or pressure adjustments of the servo valves will not be correct. The reason for this is that the openings in the valve bodies are precision matched (fitted) to the separate valve stems and sleeves.
Also, make sure the radial location of the sleeve in respect to the valve body is not changed. The location of the valve body must be marked before the sleeve is removed. The sleeve must not be rotated 180° when it is installed.
Make a note of this information in the Disassembly and Assembly Section of your Service Manual.
