Install the washers and 24 bolts (49) .Note: During the installation of bolts (49) , tighten the bolts to a torque of 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).

Connect harness connector (46) for transmission oil temperature sensor (47) .
Install O-ring seal (45) . Connect hose assembly (42) . Install split flange (44) , four washers, and four bolts (43) .

Install O-ring seal (37) . Connect hose assembly (34) . Install split flange (36) , four washers, and four bolts (35) .
Install two O-ring seals (40) , magnetic screen assembly (38) , three washers, bolt (41) , and two bolts (39) .

Install four bolts (26) , block assembly (27) , and O-ring seal (28) . Install O-ring seal (30) . Connect hose assembly (29) .
Repeat Step 8 for remaining hose assembly (32) .
Install O-ring seal (22) and elbow (21) . Install O-ring seal (24) . Connect hose assembly (23) .
Repeat Step 10 for remaining hose assembly (25) .
Position the harness. Connect harness connector (33) .
Install clip (20) and bolt (31) .Note: During the installation of bolt (31) , tighten the bolt to a torque of 48 4 N m (35.4 2.9 lb ft).
Install guard (18) , clip (20) , two washers, and remaining two bolts (17) .

Connect three transmission solenoids (19) .
Install clip (20) , two washers, and two bolts (17) on guard (18) .

Use Tool (C) in order to connect harness (13) on the transmission output speed sensor of the EPTC II.
Install lockwire (16) .
Install clip (14) , the washer, and bolt (15) .Note: During the installation of bolt (15) , tighten the bolt to a torque of 410 50 N m (302.4 36.9 lb ft).

Install two spacers (12) , guard (9) , two washers, two bolts (10) , and two grommets (11) .Note: During the installation of bolts (10) , tighten the bolts to a torque of 47 9 N m (34.7 6.6 lb ft).

Use a suitable hoist to support main drive shaft (7) . Use a suitable bar to extend drive shaft (7) .
Install spider (6) and four bolts (8) .Note: During the installation of bolts (5) and (8) , use new bolts. Use Tool (B) to tighten bolts (5) and (8) to a torque of 550 20 N m (405.7 14.8 lb ft).
Install four bolts (5) .

Remove plug (1) and plug (3) . Install O-ring seal (2) and O-ring seal (4) . Install plug (1) and plug (3) .
Fill the transmission and transfer gears to the correct level with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.End By:
Install the drive shaft guard (rear). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft Guard (Rear) - Install".
Remove the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install".
