Prior to any adjustment, refer to the "Preparations" section in the Testing and Adjusting, "Operational Checks".
Connect a 60000 kPa (8600 psi) pressure gauge on pressure taps (4) and (5) .
Place the swing lock pin in the LOCK position.
Loosen the locknut of high pressure cutoff valve (3). Turn the setscrew by one turn clockwise.
Tighten the locknut.Test and Adjust
Start the engine.
Place the engine speed dial in position 10.
Lower the left console.

Slowly move the joystick to the full SWING LEFT position and the full SWING RIGHT position.
Check the pressure readings on the gauges at pressure taps (4) and (5). The pressure should be equal to the line relief valve pressure setting. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Specifications" in this manual for the proper specification.
If relief valve (1) or (2) is not set to the proper specification, remove cap (6) and the spring from the line relief valve.
Remove the assembled valve from the pump.
Loosen lock screw (8) inside the spring clamp (7). Hold spring clamp (7) and turn stem (10) .Note: Turn stem (10) clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn stem (10) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure. A 1/4 turn of stem (10) will change the pressure by approximately 3000 kPa (435 psi).
Tighten lock screw (8) to a torque of 6.5 N m (4.8 lb ft).
Install the assembled valve into the pump.
Install the spring and cap (6) in the pump.
Tighten cap (6) to the specified torque.
Repeat step 4 through step 12 until the correct pressure is reached.
Adjust the swing cutoff pressure back to the proper specification. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Swing Pump Control (High Pressure Cutoff) - Test and Adjust".
