Loosen the nuts from the housing to release the brake. Remove Tooling (H) from the brake of the motor. Install relief valves (22).

Install plugs (21) into the motor.

Use Tooling (G) and a suitable lifting device to install cover assembly (20) and bolts (19). The weight of cover assembly (20) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).
Repeat Steps 8 through 10 for the opposite side.

Install bolts (18) that secure the swivel assembly to the undercarriage of the machine.

Connect hose assemblies (17), (16), (15), (14), (13), and (12) onto the swivel assembly. Connect fitting (11) onto the swivel assembly.

Install cover assemblies (10), (9), and bolts (8).

Use Tooling (F) and install cover assembly (7) and bolts (6). The weight of cover assembly (7) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Remove Tooling (E) from the rear of the machine.

Remove Tooling (D) and install the right-hand boom cylinder onto the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom Cylinder - Install".
Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".

Remove Tooling (C).

Apply Tooling (K) to the threads of bolts (3). Use Tooling (A) and install bolts (3) into the front and the rear of the machine. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 800 50 N m (590 37 lb ft). Turn bolts (3) an additional 70 5 degrees.
Repeat Step 20 by rotating the machine counterclockwise. Install bolts until you get to bolts seven and eight and bolts 32 and 33.

Remove nuts (5) and remove Tooling (B). Install bolts (3) in place of Tooling (B) for bolts seven and eight.
Repeat Step 22 for bolts 32 and 33.

Connect tube assemblies (2) and (1). End By:
Connect both of the tracks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Connect".
Install the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install".
Install the stick. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Stick - Install".
