Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the track roller frames. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame - Remove".

Fasten a suitable lifting device to shaft assembly (1). Remove bolts (2). Install two evenly spaced 20 mm forcing screws. Tighten the forcing screws evenly in order to remove shaft assembly (1). The weight of the shaft assembly is 39 kg (85.0 lb).
If necessary, remove ring (3) from shaft assembly (1). Installation Procedure

If ring (3) was removed from the shaft assembly, heat the ring to a maximum temperature of 135°C (275°F). Install ring (3) on shaft assembly (1).
Put 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the surface of shaft assembly (1) that fits in the counterbore in the main frame case.
Fasten a suitable lifting device to shaft assembly (1). Put the shaft assembly in position on the frame. Install bolts (2). End By:
