SPACER 3L5798 - Caterpillar

At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.

Remove tube assemblies (1).

Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and hose assemblies (4).

Remove clip (5). Disconnect hose assemblies (6) and hose assembly (7).

Disconnect tube assembly (8) and hose assemblies (9).

Disconnect tube assembly (10). Remove cable straps (11). Disconnect hose assembly (12).

Disconnect harness assembly (14) and tube assembly (15).

Remove bracket (16).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto control valve (17). The weight of control valve (17) is approximately 186 kg (410 lb).

Remove bolts (18).
Position control valve (17) onto Tooling (B). Remove control valve (17). Installation Procedure
Install control valve (17) in the reverse order of removal.
