Action Required
0R0828, 0R2171, 0R2172, 0R2578, 0R2588, 0R2593, 0R2669, and 0R2670 Remanufactured Cylinder Heads shipped after November will have a red dot underneath the part number on the box. These cylinder heads have the passages and do not require inspection.
Cylinder heads shipped before November 1, 1997, do not have the red dot on the box below the part number. These cylinder heads require inspection. Inspect all of these cylinder heads in dealer parts stock to insure that they have both of the passages. (Two per head.) See the Illustration.
Remove all 0R0828, 0R2171, 0R2172, 0R2578, 0R2588, 0R2593, 0R2669, and 0R2670 Remanufactured Cylinder Heads from dealer parts stock that do not have the passages.
Service Claim Allowances
