(1) HandlesThe alternate exit is on the roof of the cab. The alternate exit can be opened from inside the cab.Every 500 service hours, open the alternate exit by depressing the latch on handle (1) and raise handle to release stop inside the cab. Repeat on each side. Push up on the alternate exit until the alternate exit separates completely from the roof of the cab. If the alternate exit does not separate from the roof of the cab, immediately consult your local Cat dealer for service.If the alternate exit successfully separates from the cab roof, replace alternate exit and pull latch on release handle until alternate exit is properly secured.
