Remove top plate (A) from the assembly. Discard the part.
Weld repair and ground flush all the gouges on the top of torque tube.

Measure a distance (B) from top of the torque tube and mark the location.

Place fabricated 452-4177 Plate (1) in the space created by the top pin bracket plates.
Tack 452-4177 Plate (1) into the position.

Refer Illustration 3 to mark the location for positioning fabricated 452-4176 Plates (2) .
Place one 452-4176 Plate (2) to the left of left-hand side doubler plate and tack into the position.
Place other 452-4176 Plate (2) to the right of right-hand side doubler plate and tack into the position.

(W1) 6 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld (W2) 6 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld over square groove with 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) penetration from point (C) to point (D)

Locate and weld fabricated plate (1) and plate (2) as per Illustration 6 and Illustration 7.

Measure a distance (E) away from back of the torque tube and mark the location. Refer to Illustration 8.

Place fabricated 452-4178 Plate (3) on the marked location.

Weld fabricated plate (3) only at the back edge as shown in Illustration 10.

Grind the edges of the bracket as per Illustration 12 in order to install the fabricated 452-4181 Gusset .

Place four fabricated 452-4181 Gusset (5) on the bottom of the B-pin bracket plates and tack into the position.

Note: Edge of the gussets should be centered on bracket plates to allow adequate weld shelf.
Weld each fabricated 452-4181 Gussets (5) as per Illustration 14 and Illustration 15.
Assemble all the hydraulic lines back into the machines.
