AllNew Software is now available for all Cat® products with PL522 China system. The new software contains the following enhancements and improvements for the 376-4616 Communication Electronic Control Module (PRODUCT LINK CELLULAR, CHINA):
Improved alerts reporting for fuel loss alerts
Added support for software flash over Cat Data Link (CDL)
Added support for payload reporting to Vision LinkNote: This added support only applies to assets that can report payload and have update the Radio firmware to 453-3675 Monitor Software Gp. To update the firmware to 453-3675 Monitor Software Gp or latest radio firmware, a support ticket will have to be submitted. For additional information on the assets that can report payload, refer to web page "dealer.cat.com/PL".Note: To obtain the full benefit of the improvement, both the radio and the gateway software must be flashed. It is important to submit a field support case to have the radio flashed over the air after the gateway software has been downloaded and installed.The new software part number is listed in Table 1.

(A) Prior to service trip, launch SIS Web and ensure that the new flash file part number is the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available.Note: Additional information, including a list of Product Link flash files, can be found at the "Service Technician's Toolbox" web page found on dealer.cat.com. (B) Before using Communications Adapter 3 (CA3), make sure that the PC drivers and CA3 firmware have been updated.CA3 news, drivers, and firmware are available at:https://dealer.cat.com
(C) The new software is flashed onto the module using WinFlash. Always use the latest version of Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) for the optimal machine software support. In Cat ET, this software is loaded into the "VIMS Main Module". In "WinFlash" this ECM is called "Communication Gateway #1" or "Gateway #1".
