Clean the contact surfaces of thrust washer (10) and case assembly (3) with Tooling (A) .
Apply Tooling (B) and then apply Tooling (C) to the contact surfaces of thrust washer (10). Install thrust washer (10) in case assembly (3) .
Apply Tooling (B) and then apply Tooling (C) to the threads of four screws (9). Install four screws (9) to retain thrust washer (10) in position.
Install bevel gear (11) in case assembly (3) .
Install sleeve bearings (6), pinion gears (5) and thrust washers (4) on spider (7) .
Install spider (7) in case assembly (3) .

Clean the contact surfaces of thrust washer (12) and case assembly (2) with Tooling (A) .
Apply Tooling (B) and then apply Tooling (C) to the contact surfaces of thrust washer (12). Install thrust washer (12) in case assembly (2) .
Apply Tooling (B) and then apply Tooling (C) to the threads of four screws (13). Install four screws (13) to retain thrust washer (12) in position.
Install bevel gear (5) in case assembly (2) .

A new differential group or a new case assembly will be equipped with bolts (1) and washers used for shipping, assembly, and storage purposes only. Remove and discard these bolts and washers after the bevel gear has been installed. These bolts and washers should not be used for final assembly.
Align case assembly (2) with case assembly (8). Install four tempotary bolts (1) .End By: Install the differential and the bevel gear. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Differential and Bevel Gear - Install".
