Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Use Tool (A) and a hydraulic press to install shaft (11) and roller bearing (12) to roller assembly (5) .

Use Tool (B) to install retaining ring (10) to roller assembly (5) .

Use Tool (C) to install lip seal (9) to roller assembly (5) .

Install spacer (8) , key (7) and washer (6) to roller assembly (5) .

Install roller assembly (5) to roller bracket (3) . Install grease fitting (4) to roller assembly (5) .

Install nut (2) and lock washer (1) to roller bracket (3) . Bend lock washer (1) on nut (2) .
Fill roller assembly (5) with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease .
