Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the engine control module.

Disconnect tube assembly (1). Disconnect hose assemblies (3). Disconnect harness assemblies (4) and (5). Remove nut (2) and position the harness assembly out of the way. Remove three nuts (6) and remove bracket (7).

Remove bolt (8). Remove stud bolt (9) and remove stud bolt (12).
Remove bolts (10) and remove the cylinder block cover (11). Installation Procedure
Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, clean all parts thoroughly with cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Install cylinder block cover (11) in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening sequence
Tighten the bolts and the stud bolts in the above sequence.
