If possible, complete this letter beforedelivery to the customer.
Change the 1R0762 Secondary Fuel Filter becausecontamination may reduce its life to less than 250 hours.
Check the engine performance. If the engine isnot performing correctly, the "CHECK ENGINE " indicator comes on,and there is a "LOW FUEL PRESSURE" event code (51 or 53), then the 162-9612Transfer Pump needs to be replaced.
Change the 162-9612 Fuel Transfer Pump only ifyou have a low fuel pressure event code. This may indicate the pump mayhave been damaged by contaminaion.
There should be no need to replace the primaryfuel filter during predelivery.
