Flow control spool (6) maintains a controlled pressure drop across the generator valve spool when the valve is shifted.The Priority valve (5) provides flow priority to the generator valve (2) if multiple circuits are activated and the pump is unable to satisfy all of the flow requirements. When the generator valve (2) is in the NEUTRAL position priority valve (5) is shifted upward and the signal oil is blocked by a check valve.Generator Valve (ACTIVE)

(2) Generator valve (3) Control spool (4) Pressure compensator (5) Priority valve (6) Flow control spool (7) Solenoid valve (8) Main pump groupWhen the operator de-energizes the solenoid with the rocker switch (ON position) in the cab, pilot oil from the pilot manifold shifts the control spool (3). When the control spool (3) is shifted, oil from the flow control spool is allowed to flow across the control spool (3) .Some of the supply oil that passes through the control spool (3) unseats the check valve. The supply oil becomes signal oil after passing through the check valve. The signal is directed to main pump group (8) and to all of the pressure compensators in the other implement control valves. Oil also flows to the flow control spool (6) to work with the spring in the flow control valve in order to maintain the desired flow rate to the work tool.The Priority valve (5) is shifted upward by supply pressure when the generator valve (2) has a higher load pressure than the other circuits and the pump oil flow capacity has not been exceeded.The Bucket Circuit has the Highest Signal
