To prevent personal injury release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
1. Disconnect lines (1) and (2) from the valve.2. Remove the bolts that hold the valve, and remove steering neutralizer valve (3).3. To install, position steering neutralizer valve (3), and install the bolts that hold it.4. Connect lines (1) and (2) to the valve.5. Start By:a. Remove steering neutralizer valve 1. Remove boot (1) from valve body (11).2. Remove plug (9) and seal (10) from the plug. Remove spring (8) and spool (12) from valve body (11).3. Remove bolt, lockwasher, and washer (7) from spool (12).4. Remove plug (3), and remove seal (4) from the plug. Remove spring (5) and ball (6) from valve body (11).5. Remove lip type seal (2) from the valve body. The following steps are for the assembly of the steering neutralizer valve.6. Inspect all parts for wear or damage. If necessary, make any replacement with new parts.7. Install lip type seal (2) in valve body (11) with tooling (A). Make sure the lip of the seal is toward the inside of the valve body.8. Install ball (6), spring (5), seal (4), and plug (3).9. Install washer, lockwasher and bolt (7) on spool (12). Install spool (12) and spring (8) in valve body (11). Install seal (10) and plug (9) in the valve body.10. Install boot (1) on the valve body.End By:a. install steering neutralizer valve
