Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position and turn the power disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1).
Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and the fittings.

Use Tooling (A) to remove fuel filters (6).
Remove temperature sensor (4) and pressure sensor (3).
Remove fuel filter base (5).

Remove adapter assembly (7) and studs (8). Installation Procedure
Install fuel filter base (5) in the reverse order of removal.

Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of studs (8). Tooling (B) should cover the threads of the stud, shown as Distance (C), which is a measurement of 7.6 0.8 mm (0.3 0.03 inch).
Tighten studs (8) to a torque of 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft).
Tighten temperature sensor (4) to a torque of 20 3 N m (177 27 lb in).
Tighten pressure sensor (3) to a torque of 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
Lubricate the fuel filter seals with the fluid that is being sealed prior to installation. Use Tooling (A) to tighten the fuel filters (5) to a torque of 35 3 N m (26 2 lb ft).
