Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Personal injury can result from contact with refrigerant.Contact with refrigerant can cause frost bite. Keep face and hands away to help prevent injury.Protective goggles must always be worn when refrigerant lines are opened, even if the gauges indicate the system is empty of refrigerant.Always use precaution when a fitting is removed. Slowly loosen the fitting. If the system is still under pressure, release it slowly in a well ventilated area.Personal injury or death can result from inhaling refrigerant through a lit cigarette.Inhaling air conditioner refrigerant gas through a lit cigarette or other smoking method or inhaling fumes released from a flame contacting air conditioner refrigerant gas, can cause bodily harm or death.Do not smoke when servicing air conditioners or wherever refrigerant gas may be present.Use a certified recovery and recycling cart to properly remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1).

Loosen clamp (2) and disconnect tube (3).

Disconnect hose assembly (5). Remove the straps from harness assembly (4). Reposition harness assembly (4) to avoid any interference during removal procedure.

Loosen clamp (6) and disconnect tube (7).

Loosen clamp (8) and disconnect tube (9).

Loosen clamp (10) and disconnect tube (11).

Disconnect hose assembly (12).

Disconnect hose assemblies (13).

Remove support assembly (13). Repeat for the other side.

Attach suitable lifting device to cooling pack (16). The weight of cooling pack (16) is approximately 400 kg (882 lb).
Remove bolts (15) and cooling pack (16).Installation Procedure
Install cooling pack (16) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the nuts to a torque of 21 3 N m (186 27 lb in) for hose assemblies (13).
Tighten clamps (10) and (8) to a torque of 10 1 N m (89 9 lb in).
Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools.
