Fish tape is used in order to feed the cable through the channel.Power Harness and Fuse Installation
The power harness connects between the GPS receiver mounting location (under the buddy seat) and the electrical cabinet located in the housing under the cab. A 31.75 mm (1.25 inch) hole is cut in the floorboard in order to route the power harness to the electrical cabinet that is located below the cab. The three pin connector remains at the GPS receiver location and the three flying leads are routed down, through the hole, to the electrical cabinet. Note: The fuse holder bank on the left-hand side is the un-switched (+ 24 VDC) power source. The fuse holder bank on the right-hand side is the switched (via the key switch/power relay) power source. Refer to the following electrical schematic and photos in order to make the connections.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Route the cable from the GPS receiver to the "Run" relay.
Connect the RED (+24 volt) wire to a fuse holder.
Connect a wire to the supply side of the "Run" relay to the other side of the fuse holder.
Connect the PINK (switched +24 volt) wire to another fuse holder.
Connect a wire to the switched side of the "Run" relay to the other side of the fuse holder.
Connect the BLACK (ground) wire to a ground lug.
Insert the 10 amp fuses into the fuse holders.

Before applying power to the CAES System for the first time, verify your power connections by checking for 24 volts between pins A (+) and B (-) with the key switch off and zero volts between pins B and C. Now, turn the key switch to the ON position (not start) and check for 24 volts between pins B (-) and C (switched +).After verifying proper operation of the power source, connect the three pin connector from the power harness to the mating CAES Main Harness power connector.Using CAESdos
Before applying power to the CAES System for the first time, turn the key switch to OFF position.
Check the voltage between pin A (+) and B (-), the result should be 24 volt.
Check the voltage between pin B (-) and C, the result should be 0 volt.
Turn the key switch to ON position.
Check the voltage between pin B (-) and C, the result should be 24 volt.
Turn the key switch to OFF position.
Connect the three pin connector from the power harness to the matting CAES Main Harness power connector.
Turn the key switch to ON position.Note: The Display Unit should light up and run through the Power On Self Test (POST). After completing the POST, the Display Unit should start booting the Operating System and then
