Perform the following procedure in order to adjust the cab door on C Series Skid Steer Loaders and Multi Terrain Loaders. This will ensure that the door is properly aligned.
Check the position of the striker. Check for interference between the striker and the latch. If interference is present, determine the direction that the striker must be moved in order to eliminate the interference.
Adjust the position of the striker until the striker is centered with the latch jaws.
If the door continues to move in an upward direction or a downward direction, loosen the 258-3725 Hinge. Adjust the hinge until the latch is centered on the striker.
If the door cannot be adjusted at the 258-3725 Hinge, add shims to the top two screws between the bracket and the ROPS. Use 198-1725 Hard Washers for the shims. Adjust the hinge until the latch is centered on the striker.
If the door is still difficult to close after alignment, replace the 258-4430 Seal. Assemble the seal so that the ends are at the bottom center of the door.
