SPIDER A 1W3810 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the outlet line (3) for the large section of the pump.2. Remove the oil inlet line (2) for the pump.3. Remove the floor plate nearest to the pump.4. Remove the bolts that fasten the outlet line for the small section of the pump to the pump.5. Install a 5/8"-11NC forged eyebolt in the pump. Fasten a hoist to the eyebolt.6. Remove the two bolts (1) that fasten pump to timing gear housing.7. Move the pump toward front of machine until clear of housing. Remove the steering pump (4). Weight of pump is 100 lb. (45 kg).Install Steering Pump
1. Install the 5/8"-11NC forged eyebolt in the pump.2. Fasten a hoist and put the steering pump into position on the timing gear housing.3. Install the two bolts that fasten the pump to the housing.4. Install the bolts that fasten the outlet line for the small section of the pump to the pump.5. Install the floor plate.6. Install the oil inlet line for the pump.7. Install the outlet line for the large section of the pump.
