CTP 3N2444 Standard Fan for Model 255
CTP Improved fuel efficiency, up to 1.5% depending on the application and duty cycle || Individually reverse each blade by simply pushing inward (towards the hub) to compress the spring and then begin to rotate the blade; it should only turn in one direction || Once the blade begins to rotate, you no longer need to keep pushing inward; continue to turn the blade toward the desired position; continue to reverse the remaining blades so that they are all in the same position || Once the blade is rotated fully to the desired position, the blade will "spring" outward and lock itself into place; Now the blade will not be able to be turned around without pushing it inward again; The reversing of one blade is now complete || Now that all of the blades have been reversed, the fan will force the air in the opposite direction; You are now ready to re-install the guarding, unlock the ignition switch, and continue operating the equipment with increased comfort

3608 (6MC),
3612 (9RC, 9FR, 2NZ),
3616 (1PD, 1FN),
3618 (2MW) EnginesA new SOS bottle group has been introduced for sampling of pressurized fluids on Caterpillar engines and machines. In addition to replacing other bottle groups, the new 169-8373 Fluid Sampling Bottle Group is a direct replacement for the 144-8313 Fluid Sampling Bottle Group that has been used for 3600 Engines. The 144-8313 Fluid Sampling Bottle Group has been canceled. The components of the former group and the new group are listed in the tables.
The new bottle is now made of clear plastic, and has a higher temperature rating. The new cap is similar to the previous cap, but the two holes are now molded in the new cap. The new line (part of the 162-8872 Probe Assembly) is made from surgical tubing, which makes the line more pliable and more resistant to pinching. The new line is also longer than the former line. The 162-8872 Probe Assembly also includes a new, disposable probe. The new probe has improved quality and has a faster fill rate than the former probe.
The 177-7854 Cap Assembly and the 162-8872 Probe Assembly are not currently available for individual parts service.A new, reusable probe holder is also available. The new 162-8873 Probe Holder is not part of the 169-8373 Fluid Sampling Bottle Group, and must be ordered separately. The new probe holder was introduced in order to reduce the amount of material that must be discarded after the fluid sample is taken.
