Start By:
Release system pressure.
Remove Hood (Right). If removing right side.
Remove Hood (Left). If removing left side.

Install Tooling (A) to support the machine. Engage service lock (1) on the rear leg of the machine that is not being serviced.

Remove hose assembly (2) and the clamps. Remove hose assembly (3) and the clamps. Remove tube assembly (4).

Disconnect harness assemblies (5) and (6).

Disconnect all hose assemblies (7) and the tube assembly from flow control valve (8).

Rotate elbow adapter (10) to access bolts (9). Remove bolts (9) and flow control valve (8).

Disconnect harness assembly (11). Remove bolts (12).

Remove bolt (13). Drive pin (14) out the backside of the column.

Attach Tooling (A) along with the cover bolts, into the forcing bolt hole in hydraulic cylinder assembly (15). These bolts will help to separate the cylinder assembly from the strut assembly.

Use a suitable lifting device attached to Tooling (A) to lift hydraulic cylinder assembly (15) out of the strut assembly. The weight of hydraulic cylinder assembly (15) is approximately 75 kg (166 lb).Installation Procedure
Install hydraulic cylinder assembly (14) in the reverse order of removal.
