Removal Procedure
Start By:
Lower the center bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Remove".
Remove the engine side guards on the left side of the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guards - Remove and Install".Note: Put identification marks on all the cable assemblies for assembly purposes.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".

Disconnect cable assemblies (1). Disconnect cable assemblies (5) .
Loosen clamp (2). Remove cover (4) .
Remove bracket (3) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (7) .
Remove nuts (8) and remove electric starting motor (6) .Installation Procedure

Position electric starting motor (6) and install nuts (8) .
Connect harness assembly (7) .

Install bracket (3) .
Connect cable assemblies (1). Connect cable assemblies (5) .
Install cover (4). Tighten clamp (2) .
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".End By:
